Mrs SALLY QUINNELL (Camden)—Winter is a lovely time of year to visit Camden. The brisk evenings and clear air make for a lovely experience, reminiscent of a more traditional idea of the cold season. It is to embrace these times that Camden Council created the festival known as Winterfest involving food trucks, rides, and ice skating. I was lucky enough to try out the festivities at the Mayoral launch of the event where guests were treated to an outstanding ice-skating display. We then had the opportunity to get out on the ice ourselves. Winterfest had been a mainstay in the Camden calendar until COVID, and last year's event was damaged by the floods – so it was excellent to see Camden shining in the crisp evening air. Congratulations to Camden Council and all those who were a part of the organisation of this great event. I cannot wait to get onto the ice again next year!
