Mater Dei School

Mrs SALLY QUINNELL (Camden) (19:28): I acknowledge the Mater Dei School, Camden, for this year's senior retreat. This year, the Wedderburn Christian Campsite played host to the retreat. The students were able to engage in a variety of activities that encompassed physical education, social skill development and team building. The students of Mater Dei continually challenged themselves outside their comfort zone, tackling physical challenges head on. Six students from St Patrick's College were able to join the students across the two days. Overall, the retreat was a fantastic opportunity for students to relax and engage with each other, forming new friendships and valuable experiences while taking part in reflections centred around the values of St Benedict and the Good Samaritan ideas. I congratulate Mater Dei School staff and students on another successful retreat.
