Mrs SALLY QUINNELL (Camden)—When faced with the difficulty of trying to find last minute gowns and jewellery in to celebrate the end of Ramadan, members of the Multilingual Community and Culture group discovered a lack of services in the Camden area. To fix this problem they held the Inaugural Eid Chand Rat Henna Night on April 21 in Harrington Park Community Hall. A fantastic festival of glamour, participants were able to purchase dresses, scarves and jewellery from stalls within the Hall, but it was the incredible Henna art that seemed to grab the most attention. Food and Music were also featured creating a festival atmosphere that heralded in the celebrations of the weekend to come. Congratulations to the Multilingual Community and Culture Group for a fabulous evening of shopping and entertainment. It was a wonderful event.
