Mrs SALLY QUINNELL (Camden) (18:57): I recognise Brydie Meredith, who received the Camden Young Citizen of the Year Award at the recent Camden Australia Day Honours. Brydie is one of four instructors at Catherine Park Physie and Dance. This community sports group, boasting 174 members, witnesses Brydie's commitment as she volunteers her time to teach five different classes across three days a week. They include classes for members with social, intellectual and behavioural needs, and Brydie's patient and inclusive approach has earned her admiration and respect. Her students aspire to emulate her drive and dedication. Brydie is determined to master physie and dedicates herself to training and practice. Her unwavering effort has resulted in qualifications for nationals, and she proudly represents Catherine Park Physie and Dance at the iconic Opera House, marking two consecutive years of achievement.
