Mrs SALLY QUINNELL (Camden)—I would like to acknowledge Beverly Batros, the recipient of the Camden Sport Achievement Award at the recent Camden Council Australia Day Ceremony. Beverly has been an integral part of the Benkennie Netball Club since its establishment in 1984. Starting as a player, she soon became a coach, lending her valuable expertise to guide Camden and district representative teams for an impressive 16 years, only concluding her coaching role in 2020. Beverly's selfless dedication to our club and Camden netball serves as a true inspiration. To this day Bev consistently participates in coaching courses to enhance her skills. Beverly exemplifies the backbone of grassroots sports, demonstrating that a lifelong volunteer commitment to something you love is not only possible but deeply rewarding. Beverly is a well-deserved winner of the Camden Sport Achievement Award.
