That this House:
(1) Recognises that under the former Government, ambulance services in Camden were severely neglected.
(2) Notes the vital role ambulance services perform in responding to emergency situations throughout the community.
(3) Acknowledges the phenomenal work paramedics do to ensure the community is looked after.
(4) Thanks the Minister for Health for his tireless work in supporting ambulance services in the Camden electorate and south western Sydney.
My team and I acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands of which the Camden Electorate is located upon – the Dharawal, Dharug and Gundungurra people.
We acknowledge the land’s elders both past and present and extend that respect to their culture and identity which has been tied to the land and waters of this region for over 60 000 years.
We pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and commit to working with the government to establish a First Nations Treaty between the people of NSW, and our First Nations peoples.
