Mrs SALLY QUINNELL (Camden)—Last weekend, on Saturday 20 May, the Macarthur South-West Under 15s hockey team held a cake stall at the New South Wales Under 18 girls state championship held in Narellan. The stall was held to raise the much needed funds required to get the whole team to the state championships which will be held in Grafton over the weekend of Friday 16 June to Sunday 18 June 2023. Making it to the state championships is testament to the hard work of the whole team and a truly wonderful achievement. I would like to recognise the dedication of the work that goes on behind the scenes, from the coaches to the parents doing drop off and pick up and providing morning and afternoon tea, as well as the referees and organisers of the games and tournaments more broadly. The Macarthur hockey teams could not function without this vital work. I know that Macarthur South-West Under 15's girls hockey team will do their best and make the whole community proud at the state championships. The whole community is behind you, good luck.
