NEW SOUTH WALES BUDGET

That this House:

(1) Condemns the previous Government for leaving New South Wales with $187 billion debt, the highest level of debt ever handed over to an incoming Government, on top of $7 billion in unfunded programs.

(2) Commends the Government for ending the Liberal's wasteful spending and redirecting taxpayers dollars to fund the essential services that my community relies on.

(3) Applauds the Government for helping families with the cost of living by introducing the $60 toll cap and ending privatisation.

My team and I acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands of which the Camden Electorate is located upon – the Dharawal, Dharug and Gundungurra people.

We acknowledge the land’s elders both past and present and extend that respect to their culture and identity which has been tied to the land and waters of this region for over 60 000 years.

We pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and commit to working with the government to establish a First Nations Treaty between the people of NSW, and our First Nations peoples.
