In 2022, the former Liberal Government told community members that there was not a need for a crossing there and that they would prioritise a crossing 500m away. 

After listening to the communities’ concerns, I committed to getting the community a crossing that was closer to the Springs Road Roundabout.

Finally, after the empty promise from the previous Liberal Government, I’m thrilled to announce that the Minns Labor Government has begun works alongside Camden Council to deliver the crossing the community so desperately needs.
