St Vincent de Paul

The St. Vincent de Paul Society (NSW) recently opened and blessed a Conference Centre in Elizabeth St, Camden for its Camden/Oran Park Conference and a Vinnies Shop in Argyle St. Camden in response to the exponential population growth in the Camden LGA and the anticipated demand for its services.

The Conference’s welfare service on assessment provides emergency assistance to those struggling in need, particularly in this time of raising costs of living and includes a well-stocked pantry of food and household essentials.

The Starfish Money Manager service operates from the new Centre and is one of a “Hub” of services being developed to Include counselling, domestic violence support, social justice advocacy and community development.
