Sally is the State Member for Camden in the NSW Parliament.
Sally and her husband Damien moved to Camden 15 years ago and have raised their three children locally, building deep connections with schools and clubs such as St Pauls Camden, St Gregory’s College Gregory Hills, Cobbitty Scouts, and Oran Park Cricket Club.
Prior to entering parliament, Sally worked as a local music teacher, teaching thousands of kids’ music in the Camden area for the past 15 years, in both schools and as a small local business owner. She was a fierce advocate for educators and was a proud Independent Education Union representative.
Sally has a passion for supporting local artists, performing herself at local events and churches, as well as being a founding member of the Camden Musical Society. Sally also regularly volunteers at her local Cowpastures Park Run, South Camden Tennis Club and St Vinnies homeless night visits.
As a strong local voice, Sally possesses an in-depth understanding of Camden. Sally understands what makes Camden a strong and appealing place to live and the challenges that come with a growing area. Sally is committed to protecting what makes Camden a great place and addressing the issues that are challenging that.
Sally hopes to work with the community to tackle local issues – particularly education, healthcare, local infrastructure and roads, the environment, local heritage and the promotion of local arts. Sally’s goal is to ensure the continuation of the distinctive qualities that make Camden an exceptional place to live, while addressing the local issues that affect the community.
